A terrific place to get great views of raptors - and another excellent spot for Black Woodpecker and Citril Finch.
All the sites in this section are treated, in detail and with precise maps and directions, in my book ‘Finding Birds in North Spain’
If you have any information which you feel would help to update the book, please email me at dave@easybirder.co.uk and I’ll add your observations to these pages

This is the view looking back at the monastery from the south-facing ridge where raptors are likely to pass very close
And this is the view of the north facing ridge with Pena de Oroel in the background. Hence this is a place where you can scan for raptors in all directions.
