Not many birders make it as far east as Rapina polders. They’re actually rather difficult to find (at least without my book!) but, as you can see here they are well worth it

Rapina polders
It’s quite an expanse of wetland with a very useful tower in the centre
in 2010, these flooded meadows were great for waders and also surprising numbers of White-winged Black Terns
As you can see, there was plenty of water in the other direction too
