Hamningberg
Wednesday, 24 August 2011
Hamningberg is little more than a collection of summer cottages. No-one lives there in the winter and the road is cut off by snow, sometimes into May
Birders visiting Hamningberg will head for the point. The seawatching from here can be fantastic, there’s a chance of good birds in the bay and the tip has breeding Snow Buntings.
The willow scrub at Sandfjord is one of the best places to look for Arctic Redpoll
