This is the view of the Cañada de Rianzuela from close to the visitor centre. You can walk to the shoreline from here. There are hides but they are not well screened so they don’t enable you to get any closer to the birds.
All the sites in this section are treated, in detail and with precise maps and directions, in my book ‘Finding Birds in Andalucia’
If you have any information which you feel would help to update the book, please email me at dave@easybirder.co.uk and I’ll add your observations to these pages

Dehesa de Abajo
The visitor centre overlooks the lake (Cañada de Rianzuela) and is also close to scattered trees (dehesa) in which hundreds of storks and many raptors nest.
