The discovery in 2006 of a Bar-tailed Desert lark gives an idea of the potential of this site for migrants. Nearby Avagas Gorge gets Wallcreeper in some winters.
Around the point are meadows and open areas good for migrants
Geronisos island has a colony of Yellow-legged Gulls
